Designing the moments that move people from browsing to booking

Stayezy is a growing marketplace for villas, farmhouses and service apartments. I worked directly with the founder across the live product—improving discovery, property evaluation, trust and conversion through focused changes across the customer journey.

Overview

Stayezy helps travellers discover and book villas, farmhouses and service apartments across cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Tirupati and many more cities, with a large part of the experience happening on mobile.

The product was already live and evolving quickly. Rather than pause everything for a complete redesign, the opportunity was to identify the moments creating the most friction—from finding the right property to understanding what it offers, trusting it and finally feeling confident enough to book.

What we focused on

  • Make discovery easier to scanHelp customers understand and compare properties without opening every listing.
  • Give every stay a clearer storyBring the most decision-relevant information forward instead of treating every property detail equally.
  • Build trust into the decisionSurface verification, credibility and important stay information where customers actually need reassurance.
  • Put offers where they help the decisionUse discounts, banners and persistent cues to support conversion without overwhelming the experience.
  • Design for a marketplace that keeps changingBuild flexible patterns that could adapt as new properties, categories and cities were added.

The shift

What started as a website redesign became a series of focused improvements across the live product covering discovery, property cards, PDPs, trust, offers, feedback and new-city launches. Instead of redesigning everything at once, we kept finding the next high-friction moment and improving it while the business continued to move.

Discovery → clearer, Properties → easier to evaluate, Trust → more visible, Offers → more intentional, Expansion → easier to support.
